You can turn an optional profile off. Published theses or member statements can still make its public page available because those records identify their author. The page shows a random member ID, the applicable public posting label or explicitly shared X handle, join month and year, follower counts, and the contributions, badges and lists made public. Wallet-only posting does not publish a wallet address. The account page explains whether the profile remains public through published contributions.
A profile never shows your private account ID, X account number, wallet addresses or holding amounts. Showing a holding badge or discussing a holding can nevertheless help someone infer wallet connections from public blockchain information. Wallet-only participation is pseudonymous to other readers; it is not anonymous to this service or a promise against blockchain analysis.
For the supported badge collections only. A holding badge is not a trust rating or a partnership. We read your linked wallets' history of the collection on chain and keep the date your current holding started. Never an amount. Hidden unless you show it.
This can help people guess which wallets are yours.
People you follow
Who you follow shows on your public profile when it is public, and on theirs only if your profile is public; otherwise you are counted, not named.
